As we weather the quarantine together-, it’s important to check in on our friends to stay connected. To that end, I interviewed sophomore Sofie Wilson to see what she’s been doing to keep herself busy.
How do you feel about quarantine?
I am so sick of being quarantined. Despite being inside the whole time, I seem to be getting less sleep, and work just keeps on piling up, it’s awful.
What is the first thing you do in the morning? Last thing you do before bed?
First thing I do in the morning… on weekdays I either go eat breakfast or jump straight into school, depending on how early I wake up; on weekends I will tend to make myself an egg or talk to a friend before breakfast. The last thing I do before bed is almost always touch-ups on homework.
What time have you been going to sleep?
Anywhere from 11:30 to 2:00, I don’t have a proper sleep schedule.
Go-to quarantine activity?
Television, I think. I am in the middle of so many TV shows right now. Also, Animal Crossing, Valorant, and Pokemon Sword have been fun to play.
Favorite snack recently?
Peanut butter and apple slices.
How have you kept yourself sane?
Well… I don’t know if I’m still sane, but my parents try to get me out of the house every day, I walk the dog and listen to podcasts.
Have you been cooking anything?
I made some brownies the other day, and as I said, sometimes I will make an egg over the weekend. I’m planning on baking an angel food cake for my dad’s birthday.
