This boss cake is the perfect baked good for anyone who wishes to show their love for business. Whether it is another bleak day in the office or an exciting business-casual Friday, this cake will be sure to bring joy to your workplace. Beware, because although the cake is joyful, it may prove deadly to anyone who is diabetic.
Ingredients:
- 1 box of Duncan Hines Perfectly Moist Classic White Cake Mix (15.25oz)
- 1 cup water
- 3 egg whites
- ⅓ cups vegetable oil
- Pan grease
- ½ cup of butter (softened)
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- A small amount of milk
- Maraschino cherries
- Black food coloring
Recipe:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Grease pan
- In a large bowl, mix together cake mix, water, oil, and eggs until moist using a beater–– approximately 2 minutes
- Immediately pour batter into pan and insert into the oven for 25-30 minutes
- In preparation for decoration, slice about 20 maraschino cherries in half
- Add butter and sugar to a large bowl for creaming
- Cream butter and sugar until smooth, adding increments of milk for desired moisture
- Once cake has cooled, coat in frosting and decorate with cherries along outer edge
- To make this a boss cake add food coloring to a small amount of frosting and pipe a suit and tie
